The Order of Druids
The Order of Druids is an international Druid community with its doors open to everyone. There are no fees, no exams and no grades to climb. The Bard, the Ovate and the Druid are not rungs on a ladder here but three streams of one river, and you are free to walk all three at once, in whatever order calls you. If the word Druid speaks to you, you may take it from your first day. Sincerity, intention and a love of the living world are what mark our path, not a certificate.
We are not a religion with a creed. Some of us honour the old gods by name, some walk beside another faith, and some hold no gods at all and would sooner say humanist than Pagan. All of us sit at the same fire. We honour science as sacred too: to love the world truly is to want to understand it truly, so reason and reverence belong together on this path.
This Order was founded for all people. Some long to walk this path but could never sit the courses or meet the academic demands that others insist upon, and they should not have to. Whatever your ability, background, faith or identity, you can be a steward of nature and keep her seasons, and you are welcome here.
Everything we offer is free. Our free Druid courses let you learn at your own pace. Our book, The Green Path, is a welcoming introduction to Druidry you can download and share. Our forum, The Druidic Community, is open for anyone to read, and you can join the fellowship whenever you feel ready. Nature, to its core.
In every leaf and whispered breeze,
A call to care, to love with ease,
Protect the streams, the sky so blue,
For nature's heart beats strong and true.
Guard the forests, oceans wide,
In nature's arms, we all reside,
With gentle hands, and spirits pure,
Let's cherish Earth, forever sure.
